And seeing Christiane amanpour go off like that was awesome
Mar 18, 2026 11:03:09 AM
They've lost the narrative.

Al Jazeera seems to get it
Mar 18, 2026 10:14:42 AM
'Cause he's winning. Weird noises coming out of Russia
Mar 18, 2026 10:12:59 AM

Mar 18, 2026 10:09:20 AM
I'm in agreement. Flummoxed
Mar 18, 2026 10:08:41 AM
This is not their usual process
Mar 18, 2026 10:08:23 AM
It is weird. And, it makes no sense. Unless someone is about to announce paternity
Mar 18, 2026 10:08:11 AM
And yet they don't seem to be giving up their che Guevara t-shirts anytime soon 🥰
Mar 18, 2026 10:07:30 AM
And they are dumping him in advance of the revelation of the misconduct.... super weird
Mar 18, 2026 10:06:48 AM
Yeah, but it's weird right? A sudden revelation of sexual misconduct from decades ago is suddenly gonna derail a left-wing icon they've been celebrating for decades? I mean, they just buried Jesse Jackson without a peep. They usually ignore these things
Mar 18, 2026 10:03:29 AM
Astounding. Is it possible to die from virtue? Pants and zippers. It's always pants and zippers.
Mar 18, 2026 9:57:32 AM
I don't think I've ever seen the left preemptively dump an icon like this
Mar 18, 2026 3:53:50 AM
Duh.
Mar 18, 2026 3:51:34 AM
This is good. Very good. Many purposes are served. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me that Trump told them to blow the game.
Mar 18, 2026 3:48:09 AM
I wish I understood what the fuck is going on. This is inconceivable to me. And there is no way this ends soon or quietly. The Tea Party has morphed into to the Treblinka Guard.
Mar 18, 2026 3:45:11 AM
Cockrings?
Mar 18, 2026 3:41:15 AM
The is a "Beta vs VHS" war going on the kitchen. The winning will unleash enormous power. A complete repurchasing of everything: TVs, stereos, appliances, security, and eco systems. And, theirs a chance that some of this hardware may be made in America. Think Sonos. One speaker to rule them all.
Mar 18, 2026 3:36:24 AM
We are going to stand up to that big mean Donald Trump trying to get us to care about our own interests. And we're gonna do this by not caring about our own interests.
Mar 18, 2026 3:34:54 AM
Omg. Only the delusional at Bloomberg could write such a headline. Carry much water? What a bunch of intellectual simps. God, it's disgusting. And, it's not like they will be punished; The NY Times did this for Communism in the '20s. (The other '20s, Sean. And, yes, I remember.) :)
Mar 18, 2026 3:33:10 AM
I just wish Texas would stop fucking with the cannabis regulation. It's pissing everybody off.
Mar 18, 2026 3:27:22 AM
Good choice although a little messy. This is a choice for Texans to make. Paxton is showing feral guile.
Mar 18, 2026 3:23:05 AM
Stunning. Simply stunning. Inconceivable.
Mar 18, 2026 3:21:55 AM
Its amazing... is it like a percent of the oil going through the straits to Europe? They can't even lift a finger to protect their own energy. Even when Iran has been completely defanged and neutralized
Mar 18, 2026 3:20:29 AM
Useless bunch of whining cowards. This was Europe's last moment, and they failed. The GOAT named and shamed them. They willingly committed cultural and civilizational suicide. There still might be time for the people of Europe, but each day that passes makes the possibility more violent. Good job, Klaus. Maybe he has the hijab concession.
Mar 18, 2026 3:20:03 AM
Im telling you... buy epsteins island, and make it a tourist destination. People would definitely pay to see that place
Mar 18, 2026 3:05:29 AM
Or, you could Dachau the place. You know, sell tickets and everything. Good place for the girlfriend experience.
Mar 18, 2026 3:04:23 AM
Oh, yeah. Trump rules. "Little busy right now, catch you later and we can talk then." This is what happens when you don't send escort ships to the Straits when asked. He's got Xi by the balls and he's squeezing. Trip cancelled and oil diverted. And, so much for the BRICs. Ta ta for now.
Mar 18, 2026 2:49:07 AM
Or, you could Dachau the place. You know, sell tickets and everything. Good place for the girlfriend experience.
Mar 18, 2026 12:02:16 AM
Well, as you'd said - what arrests? And Epsteins island, last id heard, was completely vacant. You can arrest people whether or not the island is occupied, correct? So I'd say the occupation of the island has nothing to do with the arrests of the people involved 🤷‍♀️
Mar 17, 2026 10:20:41 PM
The pedo island has nothing to do with the arrest?
Mar 17, 2026 8:53:34 PM
The occupation of the island has nothing to do with arrests.Everything I have seen has affirmed that the island is unoccupied, and no one has been there since these revelations. If anything someone should buy it and turn into an actual family resort. It would be fun
Mar 17, 2026 8:40:11 PM
Island gone? Did the MSM say that? Because I ain't seen a single arrest.
Mar 17, 2026 8:34:08 PM
Pedo island is done. Nobody goes there. The corporate class doesn't want war with iran. They want you to ignore the terror and let them build bombs and fuck up hormuz. Seems like you're willing
Mar 17, 2026 8:31:17 PM
My children's future is not affected by iran. But it sure is affected by an out of control corporate class, unrestrained spending, and a satanic pedophile island.
Mar 17, 2026 8:28:43 PM
So... your children's freedom doesn't connect to the freedom of the Iranian people? A peaceful world isn't better for all of them? You think the freedom is not diminished if Iran continues on its path? your children may end up being the victims of an Iranian IED
Mar 17, 2026 8:13:53 PM
I don't care about their freedom. I care about my and my children's freedom here.
Mar 17, 2026 8:12:58 PM

Mar 17, 2026 8:09:03 PM
Kind of, yeah

Mar 17, 2026 8:06:55 PM
Is there a requisite number of apologies, or is it the quality of apologies that'll make you understand what's going on?
Mar 17, 2026 8:05:29 PM
Yes, im totally sorry leftwing Carter refused to support the shah and instead supported the righteous freedom fighters that turned out to be horrible islamofascists... how does that change what has to happen now to free the Iranian people? How much apologizing do I have to do to get you behind the effort to give them freedom?
Mar 17, 2026 8:03:38 PM
The tyranny that the cia installed*
Mar 17, 2026 8:01:06 PM
Sure, and that morally validates their tyrnanny.... how?
Mar 17, 2026 7:59:00 PM
Don't you think they might be doing that because we started a coup in their country?
Mar 17, 2026 7:58:36 PM
Replied to a message:What do you eat in the morning?!
Mar 17, 2026 7:57:51 PM
This one country has been fucking with both of our shits for almost 70 years. Calling us a big satan, little satan. Why wouldn't you think that we would both have a reason to stop them? Iran is our unifying principal
Mar 17, 2026 7:57:14 PM
And we've been acting for israel since Kennedy was killed and our government taken over.
Mar 17, 2026 7:56:48 PM
Follow the aipac money
Mar 17, 2026 7:55:25 PM
Ok. Iran campaign justified. And, we are acting for us. If we are actively involved with Israel two years from now, I buy you dinner.
Mar 17, 2026 7:55:24 PM
Why is it that whenever Israel and the US priorities Align, you think someone's being manipulated?
Mar 17, 2026 7:53:41 PM
I didn't join to fight iran. I joined to go after the tali ban after 911. Now, here i am realizing it was israel all along. We've been played.
Mar 17, 2026 7:52:49 PM
I think the barbarian wars were justified under Washington conditions. Us navy was meant for piracy and the British navy.
Mar 17, 2026 7:49:32 PM
We are certainly better off ending a 70-year-old conflict, rather than prolonging it, lest we rock the boat. Do you want to pay off your suffering? Or do you want to mortgage it over 80 years?
Mar 17, 2026 7:48:03 PM
Sean, first, thank you for being there. Second, the savings from the Iran campaign will be huge, across the world. Third, what would your and Washington's stance be on the Barbary Wars?
Mar 17, 2026 7:47:37 PM
Sure... but I'm really talking about Iran here. Do you think Iran is not responsible for any of its actions after 1979? Is that your position?
Mar 17, 2026 7:46:36 PM
Shit stirrers? You mean CIA, MOSSAD and MI6?
Mar 17, 2026 7:46:34 PM
Yes, I get it, and we apologize wholeheartedly for meddling in their affairs. But the ayatollah is simply not acceptable. And this has to change, if you want world peace, do you want world peace? And do you consider world peace a financially, better position to be in, or not?
Mar 17, 2026 7:45:19 PM
Yeah... but this isn't Afghanistan. And the IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan... 85% were Iranian-made. Iran has been the gremlin, stirring shit for fifty years. We are taking care of the shit stirrers. Things will inevitably calm down afterwards.
Mar 17, 2026 7:44:50 PM
It should also be noted that we installed the current regime. We could have never spent the money or lives by following Washington's warning in his farewell address. No foreign entanglements.
Mar 17, 2026 7:42:02 PM
Russia= soviets
Mar 17, 2026 7:41:53 PM
Kandahar. 2020.
Mar 17, 2026 7:41:46 PM
I was there. And I recall the taliban getting their weapons and ammo from Russia and failed cia attempts that back fired.
Mar 17, 2026 7:41:06 PM
It's like you're asking what the cost of peace is
Mar 17, 2026 7:40:35 PM
You dont think there was a cost associated with dealing with Iran's BS the last 50yrs? All the terror training camps, all of the casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, the whole Venezuela Cuba iran ratline? There's no cost in that?
Mar 17, 2026 7:37:10 PM
1. It's for collective distribution because it was taxed from the collective. 2. How is a war with Iran saving money?
Mar 17, 2026 7:35:55 PM
Interesting you see it as spoils for collective distribution. Now think of how much we'll save with iran out of the picture.
Mar 17, 2026 7:33:34 PM
Really.
Mar 17, 2026 7:32:57 PM
And to think all of that money and all of the iran money could have gone to American health care, education, and infrastructure.
Mar 17, 2026 7:31:57 PM
Here's some perspective
Mar 17, 2026 3:04:55 PM
Cake. Let them eat cake.
Mar 17, 2026 11:05:27 AM
India's economy is taking a hit, because they can't get enough gas into the country to cook food.
Mar 17, 2026 8:18:43 AM
The trip was never going to happen once the war started and cannot happen until it is fully settled. China was about to cancel it, but Trump smartly remained in charge. Trump also pulled an ace on the world by insisting other countries provide ships to keep the Strait open. He knew they wouldn't/couldn't. He called their bluff. The only real country in the world is the US and Xi is going the have to recognize Trump aa the real emperor of China. He names the time and place he has Xi's balls in his hand and he is showing it. To the world.
Mar 17, 2026 7:49:41 AM
I did not expect Trump to reschedule
Mar 17, 2026 5:45:29 AM
OMG. Unfortunately, I love it.
Mar 16, 2026 11:37:11 PM

Mar 16, 2026 6:36:23 PM
I agree. Must be prototype acceptance beta
Mar 16, 2026 6:31:58 PM
Here's actual training video of a helix robot cleaning a living room. The thing I find odd is that the robot is so tall. I think people will be wary to have a robot in their house that is bigger than they are or that they can't take in a fight
Mar 16, 2026 6:29:38 PM
Colombia and Venezuela... friends?
Mar 16, 2026 11:27:29 AM
Hah! I was wondering. Ok, I will watch!
Mar 16, 2026 11:25:51 AM
Ok, im sure this will make actual Rangers cringe (like anyone does, when the Hollywood tries to portray their profession)... but the new War Machine movie that has a bunch of Rangers taking on an alien robot is actually pretty fun
Mar 16, 2026 10:13:25 AM

Mar 16, 2026 9:51:36 AM
You cannot imagine what a relief it is for someone to pick up the burden of doom. I breathe easy.
Mar 16, 2026 8:04:58 AM
Factor out Muslims and Hindus and the American depopulation is further along then you would like. There will be no investment. De industrial and de urbanization.
Mar 15, 2026 10:27:27 PM
Xi is so fucked. So fucked. There is no decision here that lets him continue with the imperative pretense.
Mar 15, 2026 1:52:51 PM
At a very high rate to make up for the displaced labor costs. Henry Ford figured out that people have to have the ability to buy the output. New model coming up. The system that doesn't figure this out collapses.
Mar 15, 2026 1:50:45 PM
Well! The output is being sold somewhere, and that's where it will be taxed.
Mar 15, 2026 1:49:20 PM
I'd like that too, but that's a lot more complicated than you think. Each of those data centers could be running tens of thousands of installations, sometimes they co operate and work together as one sometimes they work in smaller groups. An installations change and are upgraded all the time. Sometimes being created virtually
Mar 15, 2026 1:43:02 PM
Displaced. Which is another whole problem. Best I can come up with is the give every machine an SSN as assign a labor cost to it. The money then goes into a kind of Basic Income fund. Something like this has to happen to keep internal consumption above 60%. China has shown what happens when you rely on external consumption. You end up screwed. So machines paying into the system it is!
Mar 15, 2026 1:34:39 PM
... And especially, in the process, human labor is being devalued
Mar 15, 2026 1:25:26 PM
The depopulation thing is going to happen. I still don't know how that is supposed to work. How do you invest in a world where the returns diminish every year, as par of the plan? We've never been there before. Fortunately, Russia, China, and Europe will lead the way. They are certainly likely to fuck it up enough where we will know not what to do.
Mar 15, 2026 1:20:36 PM
The only good that I can see is that we're in a depopulation spiral and we won't need all those workers
Mar 15, 2026 1:19:55 PM
Hmmmm. Understood. Well, it's coming. There has to be good buried in there somewhere.
Mar 15, 2026 1:18:40 PM
That's the problem AI is going to take all of the art all of the fun out of being a programmer.
Mar 15, 2026 1:17:58 PM
If you want to be one of the 5% leftover at the end of this, sure. Then, I could sit there for endless hours with several agents open at once going over reams of code and libraries. It's not fun, it's not programming anymore. I don't know what it is, but it's not programming, and I don't really want to do it. 🤷‍♀️
Mar 15, 2026 1:11:05 PM
Your are the second serious professional that I have heard say that. But, I can't help but think that opens the way to really oversee better work. I think it must take a professional to understand the problem, the solution, the implementation, and the exploitation. Think of it as the return of slavery, with you being the white guy with the big house.
Mar 15, 2026 1:07:09 PM
Well, it didn't take long... MacroHard is opening for business next month. And so does the end of programming as a profession
Mar 15, 2026 12:51:41 PM
That also. There has to be someone in Miami. Fingers crossed.
Mar 15, 2026 12:49:46 PM
The real downside I see... a population that spent generations in Communist poverty is suddenly gonna be flooded with excessive capitalist wealth. It won't be great for their souls
Mar 15, 2026 12:47:36 PM
There is that opportunity. It certainly makes sense.
Mar 15, 2026 12:45:10 PM
Cuba will be the Vegas of the Caribbean. They don't need any money. All the money will go there.
Mar 15, 2026 10:12:14 AM
This just has to be a major opportunity. Although an economic avenue for Cuba does not jump out at me, it is one big pile of cheap and attractive real estate off shore Miami, one of the fastest growing cities in America. I imagine it could become one giant sports trading camp for the MLB, NFL, and NBA; I am sure the Cuban community will think of something.
Mar 14, 2026 6:36:13 PM
This is, this is even worse than we'd thought
Mar 14, 2026 12:52:38 PM
Ah. It just came to me. This is not a war, it's a spanking. And, long overdue.
Mar 14, 2026 12:49:27 PM
Jeez. You may be tired, but all those are great, lol.

Some of us were working until 7 AM, and cannot engage in such speculative conversation. Was family feud really a feud? was battle of the network stars actually a battle? When you fight for your right to party, are you really fighting? It can be a war, it's just maybe not a very difficult one 🤷‍♀️
Mar 14, 2026 10:10:19 AM
This shouldn't be just Sean sticking his neck out here. I'm trying to figure this out. So all comments welcome.
Mar 14, 2026 9:34:10 AM
Edited to “We call iWWII a "war" because it involved mass, duration, wide spread destruction, and death on a large scale. It has all the characteristics of what people think of war as having. So let's go back. What "war" is this most similar to?”

We call iWWII a "war" because it involved mass, duration, wide spread destruction, and death on a large scale. It has all the characteristics of what people think of war as having. So let's go back. What "war" is this most similar to.
Mar 14, 2026 9:28:56 AM
Then we can say that ww2 was not a war because it had not been seen before. Voters think it wars. It's war.
Mar 14, 2026 9:21:47 AM
Sean, that's like calling somebody a fascist. I'm not trying to make up terms. I'm trying to figure this out. If it's not like any conflict before, if it is substantially so different, when it doesn't involve the mass destruction of civilian infrastructure, what is it?
Mar 14, 2026 9:08:54 AM
Making up new terms and bending reality to make excuses for trump won't save us in the general. He sent us to war. The voters recognize it as a war. And they will vote for whoever says they are anti war.
Mar 14, 2026 9:07:14 AM
Nope. Duration and mass.
Mar 14, 2026 8:56:34 AM

Ok. What wars in history does this most resemble?

1. It's war. 2. I called this. I said there would be boots on the ground.
Mar 14, 2026 5:31:46 AM
Xi is fucked.
Mar 14, 2026 5:19:02 AM

Calibrated political violence. It needs a name. Fast.
Mar 14, 2026 4:51:18 AM
I put Chat on the case. There is no one word like war. Using war is like calling everyone a Nazi. This isn't war, with its mass killing. This is different and the difference needs to be noted. Named. We give critics, of all political stripes, too big a lever.
Mar 14, 2026 4:40:04 AM
Interesting thought. We are certainly bringing accountability, on both sides. Every shot, action, thought, has a specific unique purpose. Is this still war? War, with indiscriminate destruction? No, I think not. We are watching selective extra-judicial individual punishment on a large scale. This is not war in the traditional sense. What do we call it? There's probably a name and I'm just missing it. Or, maybe this is so new and so different that there is no name and we need to make one. It certainly isn't war.
Mar 14, 2026 2:47:03 AM
We're actually making war personal
Mar 14, 2026 2:46:44 AM
I don't think we've even seen the half of it
Mar 14, 2026 2:36:18 AM
We are entirely on a different level from any other force in the world. My previous questions about our adoption of drones have been answered, in full.

Haha Amazon thought AI could code
Mar 14, 2026 1:48:37 AM
This really is kind of amazing now. We're focusing on the street level enforcers and opening the way for the people to take control. Apparently, there's already a resistance, and they are feeding us targeting information.
Mar 13, 2026 7:41:38 PM
All good signs... but this will be a generational change. They have to stick to it ( not exactly their strength )
Mar 13, 2026 7:39:59 PM

Mar 13, 2026 7:19:35 PM
And, Sarah is right. My same experience. I would hire American if you could find them. They are all swinging for the fences
Mar 13, 2026 7:16:54 PM
That's kind of what I'm saying. the only reason anyone is importing Indians in the tech business is because they are more qualified in some way. That's the real scandal. It'll take time to fix that.
Mar 13, 2026 7:15:47 PM
Have we ever considered training American, hiring American, and employing/ paying Americans? It does wonders for our folk.
Mar 13, 2026 7:11:36 PM
These h1b coders ( i can't speak for other professions) are getting paid comparable or higher wages than local talent. The ones I've run across over the years seem very booksmart, but they also seem a bit arrogant about it.
Mar 13, 2026 7:08:51 PM
In general, you're more likely to get a basic job done for a base price.
Mar 13, 2026 7:06:27 PM
Ok, but... the reason they are choosing these Indians is because Indians are actually really smart. Their communication sucks, and they're kind of horrible to work for as a project manager. But they are smart. Why else go through the trouble of importing them?
Mar 13, 2026 6:45:19 PM
They talk funny. Really.

Mar 13, 2026 6:13:26 PM
I remember, lol.

You're right. Venezuela, Iran, and Russia are going to react very badly. Oh, Russia, who is already up to its neck in another war, maybe. And Venezuela and Iran are gone after giving us a shitload of info on Chinese defenses. Conflict, possibly. World conflict, no. As just demonstrated by world events, China has zero ability to project power. Zero. And, it would all take place on Chinese soil. That has to be a terrifying thought. Yes, they could launch ICBMs once. Forever. And their country and party would be turned into glass, while they have no idea what might happen on our side. Maybe nothing. It's time to call their bluff. I'm not advocating for war, but I am saying that we must confront. And, that is why there is no agenda for the supposed meeting in 18 days. It's not going to be the meeting they thought.
Mar 12, 2026 11:07:34 PM
Yeah, but the idea is to get through this without World War 3, right?
Mar 12, 2026 10:33:53 PM
We have just demonstrated that none of their defense shit works. Why should they think their missiles will work any better.
Mar 12, 2026 10:32:36 PM
They need to ask nicely for the oil. And computer chips, and food.
Mar 12, 2026 10:31:18 PM
Uh, that is what has lead to an incredible case of cognitive dissonance. One of insane proportions. The more we let them believe in a power they don't have, the worse they will behave. Yes, I understand they have nukes. They are never going to have fewer than they have now, and they will never be less likely to use them. They know they are in the shit, which is why they are so desperate for an agenda. It's time for the to take a gigantic time out and come to the reality of their true situation. Later will not be better.

No, I just mean over the years, In the constant devaluing of the currency and inflation, wages should have caught up a lot more than they have. Honestly, it's too late to do anything about it now.

Mar 11, 2026 5:53:22 PM
Prices went up because we devalued the currency. Wages should probably go up even more if youre seeking some sort of parity... but this is this isn't about that. In 5 years, most of those people will be replaced by robots. Who work for $2 an hour
Mar 11, 2026 5:46:43 PM

I truly fear for NYC. The companies and industries that made the place economically viable are moving out. I had a long conversation with an old friend from NYC who has made the move the Palm Beach/Miami and is selling everything in New York. He tells me I can't imagine what is happening in Miami. And, he knows I have a big imagination. Whole sectors and swaths are relocating. New York may have to go through a Pittsburgh/Detroit cycle before it finds new footing.

Ok... can't the OPEC overlords increase production? Half of them are helping us bomb iran
Mar 9, 2026 2:42:39 AM
Only China had money. And Russia, Venezuela, and Iran all needed money to support their regimes and wars. The Russia-Iran relationship was just a serendipitous coincidence.
Mar 9, 2026 2:36:12 AM
Russia and China supporting Iran? You don't say?
Mar 9, 2026 2:05:25 AM
Xi had been funding the Mullahs and providing them with weapons. Xi had been funding Maduro and providing him with weapons. Xi has been funding the Russians and providing them with weapons. In return, China got oil and caused massive trouble for the US and the West. I know this is all too simple, but there it is. And, shit is about to happen.
Mar 9, 2026 1:50:09 AM
China had been effectively funding Iran through oil purchases. 80-90%. This changes everything.
Mar 9, 2026 1:31:06 AM
Not saying anything, just thinking: What if Trump sets up a Venezuelan-type oil sales program, where the US brokers the sale of Iranian oil on behalf of the Iranian people? The Mullahs get no funding and China is suddenly buying from Trump. A complete reverse in the game.
Mar 9, 2026 12:54:07 AM
I can't decide if the metaphor is "by the balls" or "balls in a vice". Regardless, Trump has them, and it is ugly.

I know, esoteric... but I predict the end of window's dominance on the desktop within ten years. Windows will just be an overpriced ecosystem with less coherence than Apple's.
Mar 8, 2026 12:57:48 PM
Huh. Interesting. No idea, lol.
Mar 8, 2026 12:54:50 PM
This is gonna sound really esoteric, but ubuntu Linux just did something that may kill windows within 10 years. It turns out ubuntu is the most popular Linux AI runs on. And it all runs on linux - very little if any AI runs on Microsoft. Because of this experience and direct connections with chip makers and model makers, the next version of ubuntu is giving you the ability to install and run dozens of LLM's *locally* straight from a dashboard. You won't need to worry about your GPU or CPU or memory, or the little quirks of every model, it will handle all of that for you. Microsoft is suddenly going to find itself in a place where it can't do any of that locally since it has invested so much in subscription and cloud-based services. And all of this is free. Bill gates was famously late to recognize the value of "search" and was trounced by google... this time, he will be *structurally* prevented from pursuing AI without destroying windows and ruining his precious revenue streans. He's already boxed himself out of the next evolution

George A.A. and the Cartier brothers are putting out credible conservative videos from black production houses. Consistency will be key here. I have my fingers crossed that they get the metrics they are looking for. While a white viewership will be essential, so far these guys do not seem to pander. They bring refreshing perspectives to a field that often seems worn and boring.

Remember the Alamo On the morning of March 6th,1836, the Alamo fell to the Mexican Army. After thirteen days of bombardment, Santa Anna ordered his army of nearly 4000 soldiers to assault the fort. Though only numbering around 185 men, the Texans fought valiantly, claiming the lives of over 600 Mexican soldiers. Nevertheless, the fort fell, and all defenders either died in battle or were executed shortly thereafter. Only a handful of noncombatants survived to tell the tale.

Mar 6, 2026 1:31:07 AM
This is all a bit of nonsense. In 10 years, maybe 5, the world will have collapsed in on itself. There will be no other military power than the US and we will be focused on ourselves. In the western hemisphere there is only the US. There are hardly any other viable countries let alone any other viable militaries. What we might hope for is armed helped when fight the drug wars, but Mexico shows that we shouldn't expect much. Any "Shield" nonsense will just be a fig leaf cover for us doing what we feel is necessary. Right now it's a good invention for Noem so Trump doesn't lose too much face. Quite honestly, her time as head of DHS seems to have been just one big photo op with others having to lift the heavy loads.
Mar 5, 2026 11:53:43 PM
Yeah, I still think iran is old business. Decisively ending a 50yr war does not mean he's starting a new one. Shield is happening... first meeting is next week. I think Trump is trying to unify the entire hemisphere as a wedge against the UN. I know you expect these things to be instant, But things like this take time 🤷‍♀️
Mar 5, 2026 11:02:48 PM
Shield of the americas like everything else this admin is done won't make it past the propaganda stage. This is just more slop that sounds cool.

She was let go. Now maybe Dems fund the government. Meanwhile, the big news is the war, so no big deal. Everybody gets a win. The year is only two months old and it's already been crazy. The level of potential disaster is huge for both parties, with the Dems the more likely to win the disaster sweepstakes. But, we are only two months in........
Mar 5, 2026 10:09:00 PM
I don't think she was technically "fired". I think there's a reshuffling going on. Trump is really trying to build something in this hemisphere.
Mar 5, 2026 9:28:49 PM
It's a new world. It needs new structures
Mar 5, 2026 9:18:52 PM
Noem is out.
Mar 5, 2026 5:05:42 PM
It seems like we're kind of building our own UN for our hemisphere 🤔
Mar 5, 2026 5:03:38 PM
Now things are getting interesting
Mar 5, 2026 11:52:51 AM
Finally...
Mar 5, 2026 7:42:42 AM
Yup. Saudi seems to be gearing up. No way they are going to allow another Shia theocracy there when they have this unique opportunity
Mar 5, 2026 7:18:59 AM
Holy war in the middle east. Weather at 8.
Mar 5, 2026 7:14:19 AM
The Sunni Shia war is developing. We will know in a week.
Mar 5, 2026 12:57:43 AM
Yaaaaaay Space Force!
Mar 4, 2026 1:15:15 PM
At least we got the one eyed rino
Mar 4, 2026 12:37:40 PM
There is no middle ground in these desperate times.

Mar 3, 2026 6:22:16 PM
I was hoping they'd do this
Mar 3, 2026 3:38:19 PM
My first surprise is that anyone would even suggest an age verification law for operating systems. The second is that a large Linux distribution - Ubuntu - would actually agree to it. This is completely unworkable, and will be the end of ubuntu
Mar 3, 2026 2:19:38 PM
This is good news
Mar 3, 2026 1:57:23 PM
Interesting.
Mar 3, 2026 1:55:47 PM
Message delivered.
Mar 3, 2026 1:55:11 PM
Trump is all about the messaging
Mar 3, 2026 1:54:33 PM
Replied to a message:On February 19, the Russians, Chinese, and Iranians launched annual naval drills in the Gulf of Oman. Two weeks later, every Iranian vessel that participated is at the bottom of the ocean. Every vessel they exchanged call signs with, maneuvered with, exchanged greetings with and planned with is gone. Gone. What do you think those Russian and Chinese sailors are thinking. What do you think their commanders are thinking. It's not clear the Iranians even got a shot off.
Mar 2, 2026 10:47:44 PM
Some people can just never be happy 🤷‍♀️
Mar 2, 2026 10:47:13 PM
It will still be his fault because of the chaos.
Mar 2, 2026 10:45:17 PM
And after it is over, Trump will make friends with North Korea's new leader, and all of our outstanding conflicts will be settled
Mar 2, 2026 10:36:35 PM
Yeah, they are likely the next shoe to fall with Zelenskyy becoming the next Churchill. Extraordinary.
Mar 2, 2026 10:34:13 PM
Wars aren't getting shorter... time is accelerating 😉 Russia completely miscalculated. They've been exposed and weakened beyond repair. They're the new France
Mar 2, 2026 10:11:15 PM
It would be interesting to do a duration study on wars vs timeline. My guess is they are getting shorter and shorter. Day 3 and Iran is already at last gasp. Russia fucked up by not winning in first week.

Mar 2, 2026 4:15:55 PM
They are done. Focus now shifts to internals.
Mar 2, 2026 2:55:10 PM
So iran is now targeting oil tankers... but other than nuke Israel, what else can they do? Airforce is grounded. Navy is sunk. A few missiles left? And a lot of very pissed off republican guards with no one to fight.
Mar 2, 2026 12:44:35 PM
Bad news: Kuwaitis shot down 3 F-15s. Good news: Our shit works! Chinese and Russian air defense is crap.
Mar 1, 2026 11:11:04 PM
This is really sad. A major American political party built on a tantrum, on a rejection of responsibility, on a denial of man's individual triumph. Nihilism in its fullest. The celebration of defeat. It, by its nature, is insanity.
Mar 1, 2026 11:06:20 PM
Russian caviar may be a problem. Cuban cigars too
Mar 1, 2026 11:04:40 PM
They may have to reevaluate future rug purchases
Mar 1, 2026 10:15:33 PM
This is the worst result they can find. Travel chaos. Jesus.
Mar 1, 2026 9:43:30 PM
They had no unifying principles other than power 🤷‍♀️
Mar 1, 2026 9:05:40 PM
Recognizing the truth, but blaming it on Trump. The simple sophistry of this piece is astounding and reflects no understanding of the underlying issue: they never truly established a Union. Never.
Mar 1, 2026 8:56:09 PM
Youre right the EU is just powerless. I think trump found their weakness: attack on a friday
Mar 1, 2026 4:45:51 PM
This all good. I'm looking forward to a healthy and robust discussion prior to the move midterms. Meanwhile we blow the shit out of the Mullahs and the IRGC while exercising a new war doctrine.

Come to think about it, the Europeans have really pissed me off here. Their moral and intellectual bankruptcy is really astounding. And, they have lost any right to have a voice in US policy. They have cut off their own balls, in public. Europe, and NATO, are dead.
Mar 1, 2026 7:15:24 AM
Oh, and if this is what "chaos" looks like in the Middle East, bring it on! The NyTimes', Bloomberg's, and the Dems' spin machine is totally broken. Anyone who cannot see this as a total victory for the world is willfully blind and dangerously deceptive. This also shows the terrible position France and Britain have gotten themselves into through their immigration policy. Their Muslim populations make them afraid to even support these strikes. Insanity. Stupid. And the eventual backlash has the potential for civil war. And they worry about NATO, lol. Jesus.

And fast. This is soooo heartening that I can barely speak. It's just great. The speed in which we did this is fabulous. Also, any questions about Hegseth are now over. Questions answered both in Venezuela and Iran. These LUCAS drones cost about $35,000 each. Tomahawks are $1.3 million. While each has its place, we now have filled a void. This is huge. It's wonderful. And what it says about procurement and deployment is incredible. It is the most hopeful thing. Just amazing. We are winning!!! I can now believe we are incorporating drones into our force planning at all levels. God bless us and God bless the Ukranians. War, in every theater, is now changed. Asymmetry now works in our favor. And the infantryman is back in the top spot.”

Well, finally, Fox mentioned the Iran strikes' effect on China. Maria Bartilomo said "people aren't thinking enough about this." Yeah, duh, that would be your news channel, bitch. President Trump now effectively controls the world's energy supply, especially the marginal ones (marginal in the economic sense of price moves). China and Xi and in an especially terrible situation here. They now have to pay full market price for all their oil. Russia will be loving this. Xi simply cannot have Trump come to Beijing now unless he is willing to sign surrender documents. Between Venezuelan and Iran, all Chinese defensive weaponry has been shown to be trash. Previously that was a strong rumor. Now it is shown to be fact. China effectively has no defenses and Trump controls their energy imports. Worse, the loses in Venezuela and Iran have shown the Chinese people that their government is total bullshit. Trump marching into Bejing now would just be the acknowledgment of US dominance and supremacy. Xi won't do that. This is about "face".

Feb 28, 2026 7:43:03 PM
Actions have to be followed through to their conclusion; its a male thing. A female thing is abandoning actions midstream, pretending there's no consequences, then blaming the consequences on the action itself
Feb 28, 2026 7:37:59 PM
And, if we stop now we may miss the weapon that kills thousands. Once you start you don't stop.
Feb 28, 2026 7:35:52 PM
That's quite an assumption. Stop now and the Iranian people may never go free. Iran will reconstitute its terror networks and ballistic missiles and now have a grudge. Then, the problem can go on for another 20 years or so, Kill many more people, And everyone will complain that nothing ever changes.
Feb 28, 2026 7:28:21 PM
I'm surprised some Fed District judge has order everyone home.
Feb 28, 2026 7:23:16 PM
I'd assume the consequences from continuing strikes are worse than the consequences of stopping the strikes halfway through.
Feb 28, 2026 7:21:54 PM
And then there's the people who want to stop midway through and assume that there's no consequences to the region for that
Feb 28, 2026 7:21:11 PM
Of course, we have the usual suspects trying to continue the charade in the name of "peace"
Feb 28, 2026 7:08:01 PM

Feb 28, 2026 2:01:08 PM
Ok. I want to take a victory lap. On Oct 7, 2023, I laid out how the Middle East would play out after the attack. Other than I foresaw a much stronger Saudi-Israel alliance, things played out exactly to plan. It was going to be a fight to the death, with Iran and the Shiites wiped out. Deep bow.

Feb 28, 2026 8:31:39 AM
Fox News is missing the boat here. Absolutely no discussion of effects outside Iran. They aren't really getting more than a C+ here. I'm going to check the others to see if any are thinking.

1. There will be arrests. Hes timing it for the midterms. You just can't keep your powder dry. 2. DOGE is still operating, and still finding things. I expect much more action when the midterms consolidate his power. Things are still on a knife edge in the legislature 3. The seeds for these wars had already been planted for kamala to harvest. I still haven't seen anything that I would call a "new war"
Feb 28, 2026 4:20:41 AM
Sarah. We voted for trump for 3 reasons 1. Deep state arrest. 2. Doge. 3. To end foreign wars. We've seen more iran strikes than deep state arrest. Doge is gone. And we are in a foreign war once again. At what point do we just say to ourselves that we've been conned?
Feb 28, 2026 4:20:26 AM

Feb 28, 2026 4:19:01 AM
Yeah, but again... the circumstances creating this were paved over decades by many dick cheyneys. Would you rather there was another dick Cheney in charge now, steering this project for nefarious reasons, or trump who seems to want to end it and move on? I dont see iran, Venezuela, or Ukraine as "new wars"... its old business being cleaned up
Feb 28, 2026 4:15:06 AM
I did laugh at that.
